Rampage was born out of a discussion between me and 5 other students at Stockholm University. We had only a meager 2 hours to come up with an gameidea, pitch and leveldesign. Inspired by the old childrens novel "Mamma mu", i came up with the idea of playing as a cow, trying to escape from a slaughterhouse and return to the peaceful old farm that had once been her home, ramming down anything that stands in her way. The main mechanic is the ramming, used for defeating enemies and crushing obstacles and push down trees in order to progress the level.
The game progresses from the slaughterhouse to a countryside landscape, to finally reach the old farm. The farm has sadly been taken over by the slaughterhouse owner, Mr Wellington. The player needs to use the ramming to defeat Mr Wellington and his minion farmer-spawnlings in order to win.
