DSS
The Decision-Support System (DSS) is a software tool which enable operators to control energy flows in energy-efficient buildings and areas of public use, which will result in a holistic and sustainable solution for meeting their energy needs in a more efficient, less costly, and less CO2-intensive manner subject to comfort tolerances and longterm risk preferences.
The solution will consist of a control system to provide decision support in the form of optimal deployment of existing energy resources and loads as well as guidance on adoption of new equipment and retrofits.
As the proposed system is holistic, it considers all applicable types of energy (e.g., electricity, natural gas, heat, cold, and technical gases) as well as financial positions in energy contracts.
