Principles for Visualisation

Assignment 1

This is assignment concerns designing a 2-dimensionel visualisation involving multiple parameters. In the years 2005 to 2007 the project has been to design a visualisation of the spread, leafing (grow of leafs/blooming) and defoliation (loosing of leafs) periods for five species of trees in one specific country. Students choose which country to use and seek the information needed for this. The presentation should be done in two parts; 1) a gray scale visualisation 2) a colored visualisation.
