Important assets of a knowledge intensive ESI company are motivated, loyal and satisfied employees. The provision of a working environment which stimulates competency development, encourages career moves, stimulates communication, rewards accomplishments etc. in crucial.

Measurement of employee satisfaction can be made by means of questionnaires and/or interviews. Results can be aggregated for an organisational unit. Examples of aggregated employee attitude indicators are:
