FMDC is a client that can connect you to hubs on the Direct Connect Network (DC).
DC is a so called
P2P network where you can download and share files.
On DC you can also chat with users connected to the same hub as you are.
The most popular DC client right now is DC++ with its many modifications.

- Favorite Hub Importer makes you import your favorite hubs from DC++(and its many mods) into FMDC
- Easy error reporting. When a error occurs you just need to press a button to send report to developers

Goals

The goals for FMDC are quite simple but many of them have to be viewed from Flow84's (the main developer) point of view. The main goals are listed below.
- Learn C#
- Learn Network programming
- Make a userfriendly client that isnt built on DC++
- Make ONE client that has many plugins instead of one base client with many mods (Where many do the same thing)
- Supply a path for new thinkers, just because everyone else does a thing it doesnt mean it is best
- Multiplatform client (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Make DC++ better
- Prove that C# is a good language
- New way on how to look on sharing
