Concrete Scenario for the Invariance of Workspace Problem

• The user has a stationary PC at the office connected to an Ethernet, a laptop at home (ISDN) the summer house (GSM or standard telephone), and finally a PDA for travelling, connected through GSM. A server at the office is available for central storage and computations.
• The user primarily need services for personal management, standard office work and communication in all contexts.
• The user participates in several work processes involving different groups of people and different tasks in all contexts.

Problem: the user wants to move between workcontexts without having to worry about losing the current workspace on each move.
