Important assets of a knowledge intensive ESI company are motivated, loyal and satisfied employees. The provision of a working environment which stimulates competency development, encourages career moves, stimulates communication, rewards accomplishments etc. in crucial.

Measurement of employee satisfaction can be made by means of questionnaires and/or interviews. Examples of employee attitude indicators are:
