Intention Hierarchy
Guidelines The body of this pattern presents ways of attracting ESI competencies to ESI companies. The solutions can be grouped into passive internal activities such as investigating the preferences and attitudes of potential employees at educational institutions. Active solutions may be an agressive marketing policy where the company's trademark and underlying values are pushed. Another active measure is to recruit potential employees directly at the educational instution. 
In any case, ESI companies need to overcome the often negative connatations associated with them, in terms of image, types of jobs and types of competencies needed. The work that needs to be done is the responsibility of not only HRM personell  but also the information/public relations department.
