Installation Description for File SAP_REP.DOT and SAP_REP7.DOT

File SAP_REP.DOT (or SAP_REP7.DOT) is required as a style by Microsoft 
WORD 6.0 for Windows (or WORD 7.0 respectively) if you wish to print from 
the SAP-EIS report portfolio or drill-down reporting in Microsoft WORD 
for Windows. Microsoft WORD for Windows is required in language versions 
English, French or German for this function. For other WORD language versions, 
it is possible to extend the function 'GetLanguageDependency' in this style 
in the macros SetOption, ResetOption and Library. 

To carry out the installation, perform the following steps:
1) Copy the file SAP_REP.DOT into the directory specified in 
   in WINWORD6.INI under the parameters 'USER-DOT-PATH'  or
   'WORKGROUP-DOT-PATH' (style directory).
2) Call up Microsoft WORD for Windows
     - Choose 'Tools -> Macro' 'Organize ...'. 	
     - On one side of the dialog box, open style 'SAP_REP', 
       and on the other, open style 'NORMAL'.
     - Copy the macro 'BatchStart' from style 'SAP_REP'
     - Close the dialog box
     - Open a file with style SAP_REP.DOT
     - Quit the macro which is running using the 'Esc' key
     - Select any part of the text
     - Choose 'Tools -> Macro'
     - Choose macro 'DefinePaperformat'
     - Execute the macro
     - Save the changes in style 'Normal' and exit Microsoft WORD.
3) Change style SAP_REP.DOT to suit your requirements (title page format)
   Note that you should make and keep a copy of the original of file SAP_REP.DOT.
4) The macro 'BatchStart' is programmed so that the report files are downloaded
   to the PC directory 'd:\SAP_REP'. This corresponds to a setting in R/3.

When you have carried these steps out, Microsoft WORD for Windows is
configured to enable you to print from the SAP-EIS report portfolio and
drill-down reporting.
