H-media

Accoring to (Gazzaniga & Scarafiotti 1997) hypermedia is the most recent way of using computers in education. The students are free to navigate among a lot of teaching material (much like this site...)

  • Absolutely free teaching path
  • Collaborative communication style in the sense that the student can find hints to proceed.
  • Total individuality
  • Useful for acquiring new concepts and for recovering lacks of knowledge.
  • Most severe criticism: The freedom may cause students to lose touch with educational aims.
