Distributed Course Delivery

Saltzberg and Polyson (1995) define Distributed Course Delivery
(DCD) as "an instructional model that allows instructor, students,
and content to be located in different, non-centralized locations
so that instruction and learning occur independent of time and
place" (p. 10). Another way to define DCD is "the use of
distance education (DE) procedures and practices in a traditional
classroom environment." DCD encompasses distance education. (quote from the
Learning Tree at San Diego State University)
