Tutoring of doctoral students

Sudden death (Roger Holmberg) and breaks in doctoral studies due to needed periods of work in industry (Harald Svensson and Johan Kummeneje) created unforeseen problems for the work of the doctoral students.  Without these external problems not caused by the research work itself there should have been three completed doctoral theses during 2004 from three well performing doctoral students.

·         1995 – 1998. Developing a knowledge based competence management system for the Swedish Board of Labour. The project was funded by The Knowledge Foundation of the Swedish Parliament (KKS). The system was implementing the scientific results Harald Kjellin had accomplished in his thesis. Parts of the system were a great success and was used at all offices of the Swedish Board of Labour in all cities in Sweden. The project involved 22 project members. The project budget was estimated 2980 000 crowns, Half of this sum was spent within Stockholm University.
